I'm a new student at Lakes High School, transferring from Louisiana. I've played softball for 4 years, but due to Covid-19 , I skipped a year or else it would be 5 years. I've played all bases except first and I can say I prefer second or center field . I danced from ages 3-13 so... 10 years but I eventually gave it up and focused on softball. This year, I chose to take on journalism because after high school, I plan to attend law school and journalism helps learn several skills that are important for success in law school . These things include, the ability to conduct research and to communicate well, both orally and in writing.
