Migos Rapper Takeoff was fatally shot Tuesday November first. He sadly became one of the many rappers we lost due to gun violence. According to TMZ, Takeoff and Quavo were playing a game of dice at a party when an altercation broke out, it escalated into open fire and unfortunately Takeoff was the one who got shot. He was the humblest out of the group and he always made an amazing show on stage. His big energetic and funny personality always made everybody’s day. It’s always unfortunate when we lose someone like this an artist, A person to look up to and follow. It doesn’t feel real, and no words can express the pain a lot of people are feeling right now over takeoff. Especially the other two members of the Migos Offset and Quavo who are takeoffs blood family. It’s always so heartbreaking to find out that an artist who was getting so big just dies. But takeoff leaves a legacy he was the youngest out of the group and his flow with music was like no other. His death is really hitting the hip hop community hard right now. One of his supporters Desiigner posted on social media making it clear he was done with rap after finding out about takeoffs passing. He posted a story where he typed, and I quote “I’m done rap”. and a video of him screaming while pointing to plagues yelling “this version of me is done!” Honestly, it makes your heart heavy knowing Takeoff still had so much to do. Knowing he had family and loved ones, knowing it wasn’t his time to go. He is gone but truly will never be forgotten. He will live on through his family and the Migos. Rest in Gangsta’s Paradise King.
