Plastic In Our Oceans

Plastic+In+Our+Oceans

Our oceans are one of the biggest parts of earth, and in honor of Earth Day, the question is why is there so much plastic within them? Marine debris is a very common thing for coasts. A common myth about the ocean is that there is an island in the middle of the pacific made out of trash, and while similar, its actually what looks to be pepper flakes that look almost like a soup rom up above. and while it might not seem much in contrast to the entire ocean, the species such as whales, dolphins, and even sea lions are breathing in these harsh chemicals off of these plastic items and are left without clean water. There are many ocean cleanup organizations you could be a part of. Be a part of the clean-up today at The Ocean Cleanup and help save our oceans!
