Lakewood and Tacoma aren’t known mainly for food but, there are plenty of underrated and underappreciated areas to eat that people do not know of, here are some of those places that are a great venue for friends and family. Lakewood Towne Center is a great start for your journey to find good places to eat, it contains restaurants like Hops N Drops, The RAM, Apple Bee’s, BBQ Pete’s, Chronic Taco’s and more. Tacoma Mall also holds a lot of other restaurants that are really good consisting of BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, MOD Pizza, The Cheesecake Factory, Charley’s Philly Steaks and plenty of other options inside of the food court.

My top three restaurant picks from the Lakewood Town Center would consist of Apple Bee’s, L&L Hawaiian Barbeque and The RAM and here’s why, Apple Bee’s is a very nice place to take family because it has Tablets at each table for children to play games and occupy themselves at the table while you eat, they also have TV’s spread across the restaurant that play live sporting events from ESPN which makes it a great place to go watch the game with your family and friends. L&L Hawaiian Barbeque would be my personal favorite restaurant to go to in the Town Center because of how good the food is there and how different the culture compared to any of the other restaurants in the Lakewood and Tacoma area. The RAM is also an amazing place to eat having great burgers and seafood also hosting amazing costumer service, being known as one of the highest rated restaurants in our area having over 85 four or more star rated reviews.

My top picks in the Tacoma area would be BJs, MOD Pizza and The Cheesecake Factory, these are some of my favorite choices because they have diverse menus for people who are picky eaters and have a great environment for larger crowds. The Cheesecake Factory is one of the most well-known and well rated restaurants near Tacoma with a beautiful interior and great customer service, having an amazing diverse menu with plenty of dishes in the dinner, lunch, breakfast and desert categories, the restaurant also provides big reservations for family or friend get togethers. MOD Pizza which is my personal favorite place to eat in the Tacoma Mall and Lakewood Town Center area and my personal favorite pizza as well is a restaurant where you get to create your own pizza with plenty of different fresh vegetables and meat that the place provides you with to choose from, the place also has a menu with a variety of pizzas just in case you wouldn’t want to make your own. BJ’s is also a great place to eat at the mall too, having amazing customer service and a long menu of quality food to choose from BJ’s is known best for their great burgers. BJs has over 85 reviews with four or more stars complimenting the service, the food, and the environment.

Both Tacoma and Lakewood have plenty of other restaurants scattered around that are a great choice, these a just a handful of the few you may want to try.
