Summer Activities in Washington
May 30, 2023
We live in the perfect state for fun summer adventures. Whatever it is that piques your interest, I am sure there is something in Washington that you would enjoy this upcoming summer break.
Personally, I love the outdoors. Some fun options for getting outside would be lake days, hiking, scenic drives, or camping.
Here are some locations:
- Lake Cushman
- Lake Cresent
- Olympic National Park
- Mount Rainer National Park
- Mountain Loop Highway
If none of those options suit you there will also be a lot of festivals and markets. Going with a group of friends would be fun.
- Puyallup Farmers’ Market
- The Olympia Farmers’ Market
- Pike Place Market
- Lakewood Farmers’ Market (Every Tuesday from 2-7 until September 19th)
- Beyond Wonderland PNW 2023 (June 17-18)
- Summer Meltdown in Darington, WA (July 28-31)
If you plan to stay near home, there are many options for that as well.
- Have a picnic
- BBQ with friends and family
- Paint
- Read a book outside
- Movie nights
These are just a few of many options. Have fun this summer and be safe!
