Ms. Elshire is our ECE and Mentoring teacher here at lakes. Many students love her and her classes. Did you know that she wanted to be an elementary school teacher? Then she got to college and decided to become the teacher she is today! She thinks that it’s easier to work with teens than younger kids. It works out too because I don’t know how children would react to being taught about where babies come from. She likes to teach more technical things rather than disusing the birds and the bees. Teaching kids how to handle a baby at any age is more important to her because that’s where all the “real” insight comes from.
