On February 24, 2022, Ukraine was first attacked by Russia.  There were around 13,477 civilian casualties, 5,887 were killed and 7,890 were injured. This attacked lasted many months and just kept getting worse as time went on. There were many Ukraine soldiers fighting for others lives. 9,000 soldiers died since they were first attacked. Russia attacked an elementary school and damaged 85 residential buildings along with it. Ukraine has lost all their shelter and many fighters.

It’s been almost 8 months since Ukraine was invaded by Russia. It has been nothing but terror and losses since then. Ukraine was working together as a community to clean up and help everyone as much as they could. When Russia invaded Ukraine, they lost over 1,000 tanks in Ukraine. 16,000 foreigners have volunteered to fight for Ukraine against Russia, and 3,000 Americans applied to join a new international legion to fight against Russia as well. There are many people trying to help in many ways as possible whether its donating money to help clean up or fighting against Russia with Ukraine.

Ukraine was recently attacked again. They have suffered for many months fighting for their lives and others. Many family’s homes have been wiped away from them. Since the first attack in 2022 the us sent 2.98 billion dollars to help with all the damages that Russia has caused. Ukraine has also received weapons from the US to get themselves armed ad help fight against Russia. It doesn’t hurt to take a moment of silence and pray for these families that are suffering today.
