The Fort Steilacoom Invitational Cross Country meet is back after a 2 year absence.  This year’s meet is September 17, and will be held at Fort Steilacoom Park on Saturday September 17.  The meet has grown to be one of the largest in the Northwest, with 76 high schools coming from all over Washington, as well as Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia.  There are three different varsity divisions, the Bronze, Silver, and Gold.  The Gold division is for elite teams, and the Lancer boys team of Cruize Corvin, Zander Trevino, Jax Corvin, Caleb Griffin, Evan Oroho, Easton Pingel, Wyatt Blanchard and Kaleb Everson will be competing among the teams in that race.  Overall, there are 17 different races for a day full of racing.  Additionally, there will be food trucks and Lakes very own pep band.  Come down to the park and check out the action.
