My goodbye to journalism

Lilianna Brandt

With this school year coming to an end, being able to experience this class all because I copied my friend’s schedule. I am thankful I did because taking journalism made me more involved with Lakes and became more attentive to my surroundings. As for the classroom itself, even though I rarely spoke to my peers, I felt welcome. But at first, I didn’t feel all that excited to be here because writing wasn’t a skill, I was proud of, nor did I know where to begin writing. But their work from the Ledger helped me a lot with my writing abilities, including their supportive comments. Though I don’t think I will take this class again, it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the time I had. I will look back at this class as a fond memory and take the skills I gained from this with me forward. Have a great end of the year!
