What happened at Japan Fest?

Lilianna Brandt

On May 11th, Mr. Shultis’ Japanese classes hosted a festival in the main gym. They all worked hard to make something for all the students to enjoy. There was a great turn out. The whole place was filled and there wasn’t anything you couldn’t do. All the booths had a variety of things to do like tag, yoga, trivia or rock paper scissor, calligraphy, karaoke, maid café with classmates dressed up, and many more. Lots of booths gave away prizes like candy or small souvenirs for participation. As well as an impressive performance at the shrine from the student guitarist, their playing was heard throughout the gym. Hopefully if you went or were a part of the festival itself you had a great time, we hope for this to happen next year just as successfully!
