The employees at Walt Disney in Florida have planned to do a walkout, the employees’ walkout is going to happen because of Disney’s horrible response to a bill that was passed that restricts discussions about sexualities and gender identity in schools.  

The employees are wanting Disney to stop making political donations and to protect the LGBTQIA+ from legislation, they are wanting to be able to wear their pins that support the people, this is some of what they want along with others that have not yet been named. The CEO of Disney, Bob Chapek, had apologized for not speaking out about against the bill but instead speaking for ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill.

As of now, the Disney CEO has spoken out against the “Parental Rights In Education” bill after the protests. Chapek has announced that Disney signed “Human Rights Campaign’s  statement opposing similar legislative efforts.” The company has also donated money to organizations that are working to protect the LGTQIA+
