Where’d all the time go?

Carmella Neal, Editor

Finishing this year has been monumental Lakes, but most particularly special and significant for its seniors. Many are getting ready for college, work and a break from their school careers. After thirteen years of being students, the Class of 2021 will finally move on.

It has been an honor to serve as Editor to the first online newspaper at Lakes. I’ve learned so much about reporting my school and community and hope to take the skills I’ve earned to university this fall.

If I could give any advice to the next class, it would be to take time for yourself, follow your interests, be kind to your own and everyone else, and cherish your childhood with an expectation of nostalgia.

Once a Lancer, always a Lancer!
