Last year, Lakes’ production of Beauty and the Beast was cut short early as the pandemic cancelled in-person school, but recently, Lakes’ Theatre is planning on reviving last year’s efforts to perform.  

Though the production name is unofficial, Ms. Navarro and student participants are in the process of evaluating and selecting perspective musicals/plays. Small Group or hybrid filming is expected to take place, though the plan is unclear.   

With a past of turbulent circumstances that postponed and eventually cancelled non-virtual plays, students are excited to get back on the stage.
