- Experience Tight-Knit Teamwork
Student communication is a very valuable component of working within a team, especially in yearbook class. “Being in yearbook helps you be a part of a community and know how to work with other people,” says Isabella Tecson, the yearbook Editor-in-Chief. Tecson oversees all aspects of the publication process, ensuring the final yearbook is cohesive and accurate. She also illustrated the cover of the 2024-2025 yearbook!
- A Place to Let Creativity Flow
Drake Lopez, a staff designer in yearbook, exclaims, “The yearbook theme is unique and creative, and the team had a lot of passion in designing the book.” The yearbook is the definition of creativity; from creative thoughts and illustration, the whole schools get to see what great artwork you and your team have created.

- Relive Memories
Having a yearbook reminds you 10 years from now, what your life was like in high school. Ashely Stocker, the yearbook advisor, explains how meaningful it is to have a yearbook and look back at where you once were years ago. “My yearbook didn’t really have a special meaning to me until years later I looked back and saw who I once was, and who I was friends with at the time; it immediately felt nostalgic. There is really a warm feeling about laughing at old memories with your friends from high school while you’re in your twenties and thirties.”
- Individual Skill: Yearbook Has a Job for Everyone
Yearbook is an engaging class that combines thoughts from everyone and gives all voices an opportunity to be heard. It brings together different skills such as writing, drawing, communication, and planning. Club Manager and Staff Designer, Charlene Morton claims, “The reason this yearbook is so important is because everyone had a role in creating the yearbook while adding different styles in their own unique sense.
