This article is shameful! When was the last time you drove through Lakewood? Lakewood has a pretty tough stance on homelessness, they are contacted and brought to Tacoma where there is services because Lakewood don’t! There are no tents all over the place like
PARKLAND SPANAWAY or Tacoma or resourced because of the moratorium in Lakewood. I have participated in several homless counts most most of the people that are out there DONT want the help, dont want to follow rules or law. If we ate going to fix this problem that was created by the elected leaders we have to ge honest! This article has inflated numbers, let’s face it Washington State is a dumping grounds for other states because of our elected leaders, it is common practice for one city or municipalities to send homless to another close city or unincorporated area why MONEY! TAX PAYER MONEY!! we are not going to buy our way our of this we beef to.pur back common sense laws rules an apply them. Prosecutors need to.prosecute judges need to sentence and the handcuffs need to be taken OFF the law abiding citzens and PUT in the criminals, law breakers and yes drug addicts to get them in to a place for help!
That is the truth!
