DECA conference

DECA+conference

Last Monday, January 22, many students from Lakes High School participated in the DECA conference.

What is DECA? DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Approximately 310 students attended the conference, and 50 of them represented Lakes High School. Out of the 50 students from our school, 22 successfully advanced to the next phase and will be competing at the state level!

For the majority of our students, this was their first time attending such an event. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were impressed with the well-organized nature of the conference.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Wilson for his instrumental role in making this event possible. Thank you for your dedication and support!
