end of semester

end+of+semester

With the first semester of the year 2023-2024 ending, here are some tips and inspiration to get through these last few remaining weeks and be prepared for all the finals coming up. I started by asking a few upper classmen to give some advice or words of encouragement.

Student one (junior): I think that it is very important to make sure you are taking care of yourself and not just your work during these times you can get really stressed out and it takes a toll on your mental health.

Student two (senior): study when you have time and take advantage of class time.

Student three (senior): try to remember that we are only human and that we need breaks sometimes. And ask for help if you need help!

Student four (junior): if you need help with your homework use the paper tutoring site or ask a trustworthy friend or adult.

The end of the semester can be really overwhelming and can make you feel like you are going to fail your classes but here at this school we have many great resources available to help during times like this. For example, paper tutoring, talking to your mentors and or as simple as talking to your teacher’s afterschool. But the most important thing to remember is that although semester grades are important it is also important to take care of yourself.

This was super helpful!; it’s important to have good grades and keep up that GPA, but it’s also important to take care of your mental health and well-being… we have to be able to balance both and sometimes all we need is to ask for a lil’ help. Thank you Mylie!
