Lakes High School Homecoming 2023

Homecoming is a great opportunity to get dressed up for the night out, spend time with friends, make enjoyable memories, and more. That’s exactly what Lakes High Schools’ homecoming provided for many students. Unlike prom, homecoming allows students of all grade levels to be able to attend and have a great time. Lakes High School’s theme for this year’s homecoming was ‘A Night in New York’. Everyone was very excited about this year’s theme, and all dressed up accordingly. Lots of people were dancing, taking pictures, and just overall having a good time. I’m sure that night for most will be one that we won’t forget. Lots of people had the smart idea of eating out before the dance. I saw many people who attended eat out at places like Chipotle or at other comfort and convenient restaurants. The only downside of the night was the music. The music that the D.J. played was not that good and I overheard a lot of people complaining about it and I silently agreed with them. The music didn’t fit the theme or the vibe at all. Although, a lot of students and I were not a fan of most of the music that they played during that night, we all had a good time spending it together.
