Warm Weather Has Arrived!

Erin McDowell

The Pacific Northwest have been experiencing a very cold and rainy spring. Finally, we are getting some warm weather. On Friday the 28th, will had a high of 75 Degrees and Saturday 76. Get outside this weekend and enjoy the sun it won’t be lasting long; on Monday we will be back to clouds.

While the sun is out got outside at these amazing outdoor locations here in and around Tacoma.

Fort Steilacoom Park– Right in our backyard, Fort Steilacoom has so much to offer. A large playground, multiple soccer and baseball fields, small and large dog parks, walk around the lake and multiple trails.

Chambers Bay– Head down to the waterfront and enjoy the beautiful view of the islands, take a walk up the switchback hills, or even just enjoy a picnic in the large grass area.

Point Ruston– You can talk a walk along the mile long paved path going down the water, you can also enjoy a meal outdoors at a number of different restaurants, there is a couple of cute boutique shops to check out while your there.

Northwest Trek– A little farther out in Eatonville, an outdoor wildlife park. you ride on a train and get to see animals running around freely.

We don’t get a lot of sun in Washington this time of year, so go outside, get vitamin d and have fun!
