Anniversary of the Tri State Tornado
December 15, 2022
Just a year ago, December 10th and 11th 2021, a devastating tornado went across the southern states, flattening towns across Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee and finally stopping in Kentucky. Many in these states as well as outside mourn for the loss of family members, friends and even just the tragedy of the occurrence. The cleanup was over $64 Million, not including the cost of electricians. Caregivers and clean up crews found 695 citizens dead, but the fatalities could have been much higher since the weather services were down as well as the backup service and the back up backup services. Towns all across America went out of their ways to help these survivors with trucks full of water, food, clothes and there were even donations of Christmas presents sent from all over to the little kids who lost their homes. Now, a year later, memorial walks are being held in towns that were hit.
