Since December of 2020, vaccinations for the Coronavirus have been distributed among many people. More than 135 million Americans have received a first dose and more than 6 million have been fully vaccinated. The effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccine is that it will help you prevent getting the virus. The vaccination is currently available across all the United States and has been shown to be very effective on preventing Covid-19. Although there are side effects to this vaccination including pain, swelling, fever, chills, tiredness, and headaches. Some helpful tips are to talk to your doctor for medicine such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Side effects may feel like the flu and affect your ability to do everyday activities, but it should go away in a couple of days. With the vaccine you will need 2 shots, if you get side effects after the first shot, tell your doctor or vaccination provider. The safety for getting the Covid-19 vaccinations are safe and effective. Millions of people across the U.S have received the vaccination; the vaccination has the most safety monitoring in U.S history. There are many places to get the Covid vaccine such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aid, Kroger, Publix, Meijer, Costco, and Safeway. CVS said on Feb. 11 in 11 states it would go under federal retail pharmacy program. Things have been looking good for the vaccinations, it has made big progress and millions of people have received it.  The availability of the vaccine is still behind schedule, and the current weather crisis across the nation.  Officials are looking for a significant increase in distribution and availability in the coming months.
